Band Hero Super Bundle
Band Hero is the new release from the Guitar hero franchise by Red Octane making it the 6th version of guitar hero available, without including the specialist Aerosmith and Metallica packages.
Band Hero has aimed for a much larger and less specific audience and therefore released with a massive track list made entirely of pop music on Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii. This game has included some of the old greats such as the Jackson 5 as well at including some of the most popular acts of this generation such as Taylor swift. As with the guitar hero, band hero allows the player to play in single player or in full band mode using any one of the possible instruments. However one new feature that was introduced with Guitar hero 5 was the ability to play with a full band but allow the entire band to all play the same instrument such as the guitar. This feature has managed to get rid of those old GH3 arguments of who wants to play lead guitar.
The game has many new features such as a drop in party mode; this is where the game loads up the initial main menu and any number of players can jump in and out of. This mode is great if you are with friends as it randomly selects the songs that it plays and doesn’t stop unless a specific menu option is chosen.
The track list itself consists of a number of well-known songs from the past 2 decades, offering tracks from ‘Kung Foo Fighting’ to ‘Marvin Gaye’ and the likes of ‘PaPaRoach, this game really does offer a wide variety of pop music as opposed to the rock/metal roots of the Guitar Hero franchise. The gameplay is very similar between the other Hero games. This game is very enjoyable and with a much broader track list it really does appeal to every market I would recommend this to any fan of the franchise as well as anyone sitting on the fence about music simulation games.
With no major differences between the Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii versions of Band Hero, it’s an open level for console shoppers. The band hero super bundle contains all the things you’ll need; game and hardware.
